Telegram Web Opener Privacy Policy
The Telegram Web Opener extension does not collect any personal data, transfer any information from your device, or share this information with third parties. All operations take place entirely locally, in your own browser.
For the plugin to fulfill its purpose, it needs to be able to read the content on t.me pages and inject the 'Open Telegram Web' button into the page. Therefore, it only needs host permission to work on the t.me domain.
Storage permission is required to store user preferences for the extension (e.g., preferred Telegram Web version) locally in the browser only.
The sole purpose of this extension is to add a button to t.me Telegram invitation link pages that allows users to open the link directly within their browser via Telegram Web (web.telegram.org) instead of the desktop application.
